We all love smoothies or at least we should because these drinks are so delicious and the great part is they are also healthy and you can make them in so many ways. I have had smoothies before and it was a delight. These are some really great recipes. Thanks so much for sharing this information that is a great help.
You are so very welcome Norman! I’m hoping that you enjoy them as much as our team does here at Better Health and Home. The super food mix-in’s are the key parts to this smoothie list, for they boost the immune system, support a healthy heart and liver, stimulate hair growth, support healthy hormone balance, and much more. They truly live up to the name “super!”
Everyday I like to kick start my day with a smoothie after I return from my morning jogging sessions. I like to get all the necessary appropriate daily intake nutrients as I work in a very demanding industry. My recipes were starting to bore me, great thing that I came across your article. Your recipes look delicious. I will most definitely give them a try. Great article. Can you recommend a recipe that will fit a meditarian diet?
Absolutely Ezra.
Since mediterranean diets limit the intake of sugar… Coco Loco and Cafe Mocha recipes both have dark chocolate pieces in them, so you may want to substitute carob pieces, or leave them out all together. Other than that one substitution, all of the recipes should support your mediterranean diet.
Thank you for sharing these truly remarkable smoothie recipes, i can’t wait to try them for myself. The recipes seem easy enough to follow and I’m glad that I came across this article. Smoothies are really healthy, delicious drink that go well with almost anything and are easy to make. I really appreciate you taking your time to detail each recipe.
Your are so very welcome Beesean! May you enjoy them, and add them to your collection of favorites. 🙂
These smoothie recipes look very inviting and also sound very healthy. You mention ingredients like Chai-lax Super food mix, Super Green Energy super food powder and Women’s Essential Super Food powder blend, but where would I be able to buy those ingredients?
I find it interesting that you say with each recipe that the final ingredient that you put into the blender is the ice and/or banana. Is there any reason why you cannot just randomly throw all the ingredients in as you are going to be blending it in any case?
Great questions LineCowely!
The super food blends that I am recommending are our very own super food blends, created in small batches here at the Better Health & Home headquarters. Our online shop is currently being developed (which is why there is no link at the moment), but will have it available shortly.
To answer your second question;
I’m recommending to put the ice and or banana on top, because it helps weigh the ingredients down into the blender blades, and keeps the powders from flying up on the sides (so that you can get the most out of your super foods).
